Born May 24, 1967 - American actor.
He graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in 1989 and soon made his television debut. In 1992, he landed his first notable television role in the daytime soap opera Santa Barbara. After he achieved fame for his prime-time roles, in such TV series as McKenna (1994-1995), Dark Skies (1996-1997), The Magnificent Seven (1998-1999) and Now or Never ( 1999-2000). In 2002, he starred in Steven Spielberg's mini-series Kidnapped. He was twice nominated for a Saturn Award for his roles in the TV series Dark Skies and Now or Never. Gruvemuvestart
Close is best known for his role as FBI agent Martin Fitzgerald on the television series Without a Trace, where he filmed from 2002 to 2009. In 2011, he starred in Chaos, which was canceled after one season, before appearing in Force Majeure, American Horror Story and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. In 2012, he landed a recurring role on the television series Nashville, starring Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere, starring Teddy Conrad.
