Born February 8, 1944, Aymores is a Brazilian photographer, one of the largest photojournalists in the world. Graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Sao Paulo. He worked in his specialty, on a business trip of the World Bank he ended up in Africa, where he began to photograph. Since 1973 he has only been engaged in photography, first as a reporter. In 1979 he was admitted to the Magnum Photo agency. In 1994, he left it and, together with his wife, created his own agency, Amazonas Images, in Paris. As a photographer, he traveled to over 100 countries. Lives in Paris.
Wim Wenders, who studied Sebastian's work for 25 years, made the film "Salt of the Earth" about him.
