Born August 13, 1982 in Constanta, Romania is an American actor of Romanian descent.
His parents divorced when Sebastian was only 2 years old. At the age of 8, due to the events of the Romanian Revolution, he and his mother moved to Vienna (Austria), where his mother worked as a pianist and got married a second time. Sebastian lived in Austria for four years. When Sebastian was 12 years old, he and his family moved to the United States. The new place of residence in America for the actor was Rockland County in the state of New York, where his stepfather was offered the job of director of a private academy.
Sebastian Stan began to take part in school productions of classical plays. In high school, he spent the summer at the Stagedoor Manor theater summer camp. In this camp, Sebastian was involved in several performances. After Stagedoor Manor, the choice of the future profession was finally made.
After graduating from high school, Sebastian applied to the acting department of several American universities. He was accepted and graduated from Rutgers University (Mason Gross School of the Arts) in New Jersey. Sebastian Stan has a Bachelor of Arts in Acting. After university, the actor spent a year on an internship at the famous London Globe Theater.
Since 2007, Sebastian Stan began acting in the popular TV series "Gossip Girl" as Carter Baizen. In the same year, the actor got the role of Leo in the film "Education of Charlie Banks".
In 2014, Captain America: The Other War was released, in which Stan again played Bucky, who became the Winter Soldier.
