Jan Dekler - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips, actor.
Born February 14, 1946 in the Nile. He is a Belgian television actor and artist. Decler also plays on stage. In the early sixties, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. Then he entered the theater school in Antwerp: Studio Herman Teirlinck (Studio Herman Teirlinck). From 1992 to 1997, he was also the head and teacher at this theater school. Decler made his acting debut in 1971 in Mira, directed by Fons Rademakers. There he played the son of a farmer along with Willeke van Ammelroy. In the theatrical world, he became famous for his participation in the group "New International Scene" (Internationale Nieuwe Scene), where he played in the theatrical play "Mystery Buff" by Dario Fo. In November 2005, Decler received an award from the Flemish Film Press Association for his work. In 2008, he received the Best Actor award at the Tiburon International Film Festival, California, USA for his role in the Belgian film Man zkt vrouw (2007).
