Born March 1, 1967, Fort Worth - American television actor. His father was Arthur Coleman "Cappie" Eads, a retired district attorney; he died on November 1, 2011. His mother is Vivian Baker (nee Athens). Eads has an older sister, Angela Eads Tekell, a lawyer in Waco, Texas. His stepfather is Dudley Baker, a gynecologist. George graduated from Belton High School in 1985 and received his degree in marketing from Texas Tech University in 1989. He was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity in college. Prior to his acting career, Eads worked as a copier sales agent and sold first aid kits. To begin his acting career, Eads moved to Los Angeles, California in a pickup truck borrowed from his stepfather. In the city, he could only drive during the day, since the pickup headlights were broken. Eads' breakthrough was his participation in the daytime soap opera Savannah. And although his character died in the very first episode, Eads managed to become so popular that the producers left him on the show - his character Travis Peterson appeared in flashbacks, and in the end he returned to the series as Travis' identical twin brother, Nick Corelli.
During the Savannah era, Eads made a guest appearance in Ambulance and also starred in several television films, including Death of the Queen with Yasmine Blyth (1997) .
In 2000, Eads landed a lead role in the CBS police drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, where he played forensic scientist Nick Stokes for 15 years. In parallel with CSI, Eads also starred in television films such as Monty Walsh (2003) and Evel Nivel (2004) .
In August 2014, even before the premiere of the 14th season of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation", it became known about the negotiations of Eads about the possibility of his departure from the show due to a conflict on the basis of creative differences with the scriptwriter of the series. On November 25 of the same year, it was officially announced that he left and the show after the end of the 15th season. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation has not been renewed for Season 16.
In 2016, Eads began acting as Jack Dalton on the MacGyver television series.
