At birth he was named Michael Eisner. He attended Harvard High School (now Harvard Westlake), Georgetown University, and the University of Southern California Film School. In order to avoid confusion with his famous father, he took the pseudonym Breck as his name.
In 2005, Breck Eisner directed the film Sahara, starring Matthew McConaughey, Penelope Cruz and William Macy. At the moment, this film is considered one of the largest financial failures in the history of Hollywood.
