Born June 10, 1964, Paraparaumu, New Zealand is a New Zealand writer, director and producer.
Studied at the Auckland Grammar School. At the age of 21, he leaves for London (Great Britain), where he has been filming television commercials for more than ten years. Then he moved to Los Angeles, where he made his film debut with the film Gattaca. The film has received high marks from film critics and many awards at film festivals. Prior to that, renowned producer Scott Rudin became interested in the script for The Truman Show, written by Nikkol, directed by Australian director Peter Weir in 1998. The Truman Show has also received numerous awards and nominations, including Oscar and Golden Globe nominations.
