Born November 2, 1979, Palo Alto, California, USA - American film director, screenwriter, producer and cameraman.
After creating the student short film, When the Kids Are Away, Chu joined the William Morris Agency and took part in several projects. Later, Sony Pictures was hired to shoot the feature film "Bye Bye Birdie", but due to budget problems, filming was never started.
He directed several films about dancing and dancers, including two documentaries about Justin Bieber. In 2010-2011 he directed and produced the series The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers (Legion of Extraordinary Dancers).
