Born April 21, 1949 - American singer and actress.
She is the great-great-granddaughter of the opera singer Adeline Patti. LuPont was educated at the Juilliard School of Drama in 1968-1972, from which she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and then made her stage debut.
Lupon achieved success for her role as Eva Duarte in the musical Evita, which earned her her first Tony prize in 1979, and for her role as Norma Desmond in the musical Sunset Boulevard. In addition, she starred in the musicals Les Miserables, Gursi and many others. She is well known on television for her role in the drama series Life Goes on, where she starred from 1989 to 1993.
