Born November 27, 1964 - American actress, writer and former model. She worked as a model during her studies at the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and in 1985 made her television debut in an episode of the hit sitcom The Cosby Show. Then she starred in the television movie Madame Beverly Hills with Faye Dunaway, and in 1986 she got her most famous role in her career - Darlene Merriman in the ABC comedy series Master Class, which aired for five seasons and ended in 1991 year. In 1989, during a break from filming the show, she co-starred with Oprah Winfrey in the historic Brewster Womens miniseries, and after its completion in Fury in Harlem (1991) with Forest Whitaker and Boomerang.
