Born July 28, 1949, Henderson County, Tennessee, USA - American screenwriter, director, producer and songwriter.

Started writing stories at the age of seven. After high school, he graduated from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, USA, where he studied Russian philology and language, theology, was a member of the student fraternity Lambda Chi Alpha. A year later I graduated from the martial arts seminar. The holder of a black belt in karate.

Moved to Los Angeles, where he took up literary work, began writing short stories, novels and screenplays for films. In Hollywood, he dabbled in singing and songwriting. In a few months in a new place, he managed to become a producer and screenwriter for Stephen J. Cannell Productions, Stephen Kennel.

During a trip to Edinburgh, the American producer was 'introduced' to the story of William Wallace, the legendary national hero who led the rebellion against English rule under King Edward Longleg.
