Born August 9, 1968 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, better known as McG, is an American film director and film producer, actor, and music producer.
Trained at the University of California, Irvine, where he earned a BS in Psychology.
He began his career in the music industry, making videos and producing music albums. Then he moved into the cinema, and soon became famous for his first film, "Charlie's Angels" (2000), which became the highest grossing debut on the first weekend at the time. He then directed several more films, including Terminator: May the Savior Come (2009), and also produced several television series such as Lonely Hearts and Supernatural.
McG also owns his own production company, Wonderland Sound and Vision, founded in 2001 and overseeing the production of films and television series he has worked on since Charlie's Angels 2 (2003).
