Born February 12, 1980 better known by his stage name Gucci Mane is an American rapper.

He loved to write poetry as a child and started rapping at the age of 14. In 2001, Davis joined La Flare on Str8 Drop Records. In 2002, Davis is associated with SYS records, and in 2004 he released the single "Black Tee" as a response to Dem Franchize Boyz's "White Tee" recording.
