A psychedelic rock band that emerged in Brazil in the 60s, disbanded by the late 70s, and in 2006 gathered again at the Pitchfork Festival. The team was organized by Arnaldo Baptista, Sergio Diaz and Rita Lee, who is responsible for the vocals of almost all the songs. The group from Sao Paulo is considered one of the main in the Brazilian Tropicalia. Os Mutantes has had problems with the authorities throughout his career. Members of the drug group had no less serious problems. At the end of the year before last, Sergio Diaz announced that Os Mutantes were preparing a new album. Devendra Banhart helps them with some compositions.
