Born October 11, 1965 in a family of immigrants from Nigeria, who moved to the UK, where the actor will be born in Nottingham in 1965. But his mother, Mary Phyllis James, dies when D. Lenny is 12 years old, leaving him and his brother in the care of a social worker at the orphanage.
He is in a civil marriage with Giselle Groisman from whom he has three children - Romy and twins, Georgia and Celine.
