German scriptwriter and producer, owner and manager of Caligari Film GmbH. In 1985, Gabriela received a diploma from the Munich University of Film and Television, after which she immediately began work. Her first professional experience was working on the film "DAS ARCHE NOAH PRINZIP" by the now famous director and author of films of disasters Roland Emmerich, where she acted as a producer.

Walter took her first steps in the film industry together with director Ulrich Edel (“DIE KINDER VOM BAHNHOF ZOO”, “Last Turn to Brooklyn”). In 1986, Gabriela began her entrepreneurial career at CALIGARI FILM.

Since the 1990s, Walter has introduced the sitcom genre to the German film market in partnership with Sony Columbia TriStar. By 1999 she had released more than 80 episodes of the German comedy series HAUSMEISTER KRAUSE starring Tom Gerhard.

In addition, Gabriela has been involved in the production of animation products. She has had a hand in the release of the cartoons "Princess Lilifi" (2009), "Felix's Travels" (2005), "Felix 2" (2006), "Moon Bear: The Big Movie Adventure" (2008) and many others.

To date, Gabriela has released more than 400 episodes of various products, including feature films of various genres, television films, animation and documentaries.

In addition to producing, Walter has established herself as a talented screenwriter. The first tryout took place back in 1980, when Gabriela acted as a screenwriter (along with Roland Emmerich, Thomas Merker, Karl Walter and others) of the television tape "Altosax". Since the 2000s, Walter has resumed screenwriting activities, she co-wrote animated films: Felix's Journey (2005), Moon Bear (2008), Princess Lilifi 2 (2009) and many others.

In 2007 Gabriela Walter won the Bavarian Businesswoman of the Year for Best Entrepreneur. And in 2009 she became a member of the executive board in the animation department at the German Producers Alliance Film & Television.

In 2013, Gabriela became the author and producer of yet another animated film - the adventure animated film Braveheart, directed by Thomas Bodenstein, Hubert Weiland and Nina Wells. Walter is currently working on a new animated series "Ritter Rost", in which he will again act as a screenwriter and producer at the same time.
