Born on January 17, 1909.
The son of the naval leader N.L. Clado (1862-1919) .
In 1926-1927. studied at the camera department of the Leningrad Photo Cinema School.
In 1927-1929. - N.N. Klado continued his education at the Leningrad Institute of Art History.
In 1935-1936. - in the postgraduate study of VGIK in the specialty "Theory of film drama" .
Since 1923 he worked in cinema as an assistant and assistant director, then director, editor, head of the script department, head of production at film studios in Leningrad, Moscow, Krevan, Tashkent, Alma-Ata.
In 1938-1940 he was a senior teacher of the Committee for Cinematography at the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR (Moscow).
In 1942-45 he worked in Dushanbe.
He passed away in 1990. He was buried at the Miusskoye cemetery in Moscow.
