Born on August 1, 1935. In 1958 he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Railway Engineers, in 1958-1963. worked as an engineer at construction sites and in design organizations, made his debut as an author of humorous stories. In 1967-1984 worked in the magazine "Youth". He made his debut as a playwright in 1979. Author of a collection of plays "Monument to an Unknown Stylish" (1996).
He has been writing for animation since 1965. Worked with directors V.I. Tarasov, S.M. Sokolov, Yu.A. Butyrin, A.P. Zyablikova and others.
