Born on August 19, 1946 in Baku.
In 1960-1965 he studied at the Azerbaijan State School named after. Azima, in 1966-1972 - at VGIK.
In 1972-1979 he worked in the publishing houses "Pravda", "Soviet Russia", the magazine "Pioneer".
1980-1990 - production designer and director of the Soyuzmultfilm film studio.
Worked in puppetry, hand-drawn animation, on the combined film "Maria Mirabela". Collaborated with M.A. Kamenetsky, S.M. Sokolov, E.M. Obraztsova, N.I. Shorina and others.
