Was born on January 12, 1969 in Babushkin, Buryatia. She grew up, graduated from high school, and then the university in Irkutsk (Irkutsk State University, Faculty of Philology, Department of Journalism, 1991 graduation). Since 1988 - a correspondent for the regional newspaper "Soviet Youth", since 1991 - for the economic weekly "East - West". In 1994, she left paper journalism for television: at AS Baikal TV, first as an author and host of the Morning Cocktail show, then as director of the News Seven Plus news program. In 1998 she received a grant from Internews for training as a TV news director at the University of California, Chico, received a certificate, and realized that “I don’t want to create events with a minus sign”. I would like to do cinema. In 1999 she moved to Moscow, in 2003 she graduated from the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography, film drama department, workshop of O. Agishev. During the transition period from television journalism to screenwriting, she was engaged in economic PR, in particular, promoted the reform of the electric power industry (editor-in-chief of the Electricity Market magazine). But the cinema won: on the day of the defense of the diploma script, she sold the rights to the magazine and devoted herself only to creating scripts for cinema and television. Despite the fundamental VGIK education, Natalia believes that "you always need to learn and never too late." So, in 2004 she completed training at the seminar of Krzysztof Zanussi "Script of a television series" and the course "Systemic therapy and counseling" according to the method of B. Hellenger. In 2006 she mastered the technology of creating a sitcom at the author's seminar by A. Chase (screenwriter Friends), and in 2007 she left for Canada (Halifax) for 9 months to thoroughly learn English. Which is also not superfluous for a screenwriter. In the pauses between studies, she wrote and implemented 14 game projects, but her favorite film and business card is the mystical drama "The Third Heaven", filmed by director E. Ishmukhamedov according to the diploma script. He currently lives in the UK.
