Born June 3, 1967 - American journalist, writer, and television personality.
He got his first experience in the media when he was a child, when he starred for the Harper's Bazaar magazine with the famous photographer Diana Arbus. At the age of three he appeared on The Tonight Show and at the age of 9 he took part in the game show To Tell the Truth .
After several heart attacks, his father passed away in January 1978, and Anderson's older brother, Carter, committed suicide in July 1988. The death of his brother pushed him to journalism: after graduating from Yale University for several years, he visited Somalia, Thailand, Vietnam, Rwanda, Bosnia - those places where, according to him, he could see the pain that he experienced internally. In the countries he visited, he filmed videos that Channel One bought from him.
In 1995, Cooper got a job as a correspondent for ABC News, and in 1999 he became a co-host on the program "World News Now". The following year, he was invited to work on the reality show "The Mole". In 2001, Cooper left ABC and went to work at CNN, where he hosted American Morning with Paula Zahn. In 2002, he began working on CNN's weekend news bulletins.
