Born August 13, 1962 is an American actor and director.
Slattery is best known for his role in the television series Mad Men, in which he starred from 2007 to 2015. For this project, he was nominated for three consecutive years for an Emmy in the category Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.
He is also known for his television roles in Desperate Housewives, Will and Grace, Sex and the City, Jack and Bobby and others.
In 2003, he played the role of the heroine Julia Roberts' boyfriend in Mona Lisa Smile. He also starred over the years in City Hall, Sleepers, Flags of Our Fathers, Charlie Wilson's War, Dirty Dancing 2: Havana Nights and 2010's Iron Man 2.
Recently he also appeared as a guest star on the sitcom 30 Shocks. Voiced Admiral Havelock in Dishonored. In 2011, he played in the film "Reality Changes".
In 2014 he made his directing debut, staging the black tragicomedy "God's Pocket", one of the last roles in which was played by Slattery's friend Philip Seymour Hoffman.
