Born on January 15, 1925 in Tsybulevo near Elizavetgrad. Producer. Graduated from the Leningrad Infantry School (1943), a participant in the Great Patriotic War. After the war he graduated from the history department of the Kirov Pedagogical Institute (1950), the directing department of VGIK (1955, workshop of G. Alexandrov and M. Romm). Director of popular science and documentaries and feature films. Director's assistant on the film by A. Zarkhi "Nesterka" (1955).
