Rock group Incubus was born in California in 1992: since then, the guys have slowly but surely walked up the winding staircase, which, in the end, led them to the very top of the musical Olympus. Today, many millions of audiences are going to listen and watch Incubus, and the former simple guys have become real world stars. Let's try to follow how four classmates managed to achieve such popularity!
Brand Boyd, Mike Einsiger, Alex Katunich and Jose Pasillas once sat at the same school desk and, perhaps, at a party dedicated to obtaining certificates, they could see each other for the last time, but fate decided otherwise, having gathered a friendly quartet under a frame one alternative rock band. They started out with funk rock, gradually adding post-grunge and rapcore to their own compositions; they performed with small concerts, sang as an opening act for popular bands, and in 1995 DJ Life joined Incubus, and the guys decided to release their debut album.
This event became a powerful impetus to the development of their career: the young, promising group was immediately noticed by some influential recording studios, including Immortal Records, with which the rockers would later record their first professional album. The popularity of the band grew, and even though Life decided to leave the team, and Kilmore took his place, this did not in any way affect the demand for performers. And now they are already supporting such popular artists as Limp Bizkit, System of a Down and many others, and their single Pardon me hits MTV, bringing sales closer to platinum.
Incubus 2015 is a well-established group with its own, unique sound, having millions of fans all over the world, as well as 10 full-fledged records, enjoying great success. Their latest album to date is "If Not Now, When?" was released back in 2011, but let's hope that very soon we will be able to enjoy new bright hits of the musicians.
