The classic representatives of the mainstream rock, the team from San Francisco under the modest name Train went to success slowly but surely. It really resembled a small, but very persistent train, which, overcoming all obstacles, gradually rises to the top of a mountain that seemed absolutely unattainable. The countdown of the life of the rock band Train began in 1994. Fate itself drove the owner of a pleasant voice, Patrick Monahan, from his hometown on Lake Erie, Pennsylvania, to bustling Los Angeles. This was at the very end of 1993. In the city of angels, Monaghan met fellow adventurer Rob Hotchkiss, vocalist and guitarist all rolled into one, who had by then gone through elementary survival school with the Apostles. The guys had so much in common that the idea to create your own group, so far in the amount of two people, came by itself. So Monaghan and Hotchkiss, having two voices and one guitar (in the manner of Simon & Garfunkel), end up in San Francisco, where they play as an acoustic duo in small clubs and cafes.
