Born October 22, 1944 in Hamburg, Germany, into the family of actress Erica Kunstmann and producer Georg Tiess.
She was brought up by her grandparents and graduated from the boarding school of St. Peter-Ording.
She first appeared on stage at the Jungen Theater in Hamburg (1962). In the movie, his debut took place in a cameo role in the film "They found their way / Sie fanden ihren Weg" (1962) .
She gained fame after performing roles in three films of the Italian director Ugo Liberatore "Il sesso degli angeli" (Nora) and "Bora Bora" (Suzanne) - both 1968 and "Lovemaker" (Christina, 1969).
She starred in popular German television series.
