Graham Greene was born on June 22, 1952, in Ontario, Canada, on the Six Nation Reserve of the Iroquois Indian people, near Brantford. He belongs to the Onayda tribe, which is part of the Six Nations, the Iroquois confederation.
Graham Greene was the second of six children born to John and Lillian Greene. His father was a driver, his mother was a housewife. At the age of 16, Green dropped out of school and went to work, was a bartender, carpenter, factory worker. In the early 1970s, while working as a sound engineer for one of the Canadian rock bands, he decided to become an actor. His film debut took place in 1979, Green played in an episode of the film "The Great Detective". He got his first full-fledged role in 1983.
Green's real fame was brought by the Oscar-winning film Dancing with Wolves.
