Anthony Khodursky is a successful Soviet theater and film actor, born on October 3, 1903 in the city of Batumi, Russian Empire, now Georgia. Father was a simple mechanic, then got a job as a machinist in the Black Sea Fleet. The mother devoted herself entirely to the children, she did not work anywhere. Even when Anthony was in his infancy, the Khodursky family moved to Baku. When the boy turned seven, his father died tragically. The mother, in despair, together with her son, moved again, now to Odessa. Being in absolute poverty, Anthony had to work in several jobs at the same time for several years, while the teenager had time to study in parallel at evening general education courses. The guy was so diligent and mentally gifted that, despite all the difficulties, he learned all 6 courses of the gymnasium in 3 years. Trying to earn at least some penny, Anthony got a job as a merchant in an optics store, then in a printing house, and later worked as a courier in a bank for 2.5 years. Beginning in 1921, Khodursky began to combine work with the unexpectedly emerging talent of acting. He joined the troupe of the Theater of Revolutionary Searches, with which he performed until 1925. Later he played in theaters in Penza, Voronezh, Saratov. The roles of Anthony Khodursky have always been very characteristic, impulsive and memorable, however, like the actor himself. 8 years after leaving Terevisk, working in Saratov, Anthony Martselyevich falls in love with Natalia Gitserot. Soon their common daughter is born. But, with the move to Moscow, the young family starts to have problems.
