After the publication of the collection Rosary (1914), Marina Tsvetaeva called Anna Akhmatova - later recognized as the poet of the Silver Age - “The Muse of Weeping”. By the irony of her share, with her difficult fate and tests, measured with interest to her, Akhmatova will prove the accuracy of this characteristic all her life.

Anna Andreevna Akhmatova (Gorenko) was born in Odessa, spent her childhood in Tsarskoye Selo, and in the summer she rested with her family near Sevastopol (Crimea). After her parents divorced (1905) she lived and studied in Kiev, graduated from a gymnasium here, was a student of the Higher Courses for Women (legal department).

From the first husband (1910-1918) - Nikolai Gumilyov - the son Leo was born (1912-1992), the second husband (1918-1926) was the scientist Vladimir Shileiko, the third, civilian (1922-1938) - Nikolai Punin.

Anna Akhmatova wrote her first poem at the age of eleven, the poetess's debut publication dates back to 1911, a full-fledged collection of poems - Evening - was released a year later. One of the most famous and at the same time scandalous works of the collection is The Gray-Eyed King (1910). There is an opinion that the described character is none other than the last Russian Tsar Nicholas II, the most daring critics suggest that he is the father of Akhmatova's son, including because of the portrait resemblance.

The first hard blow of fate was the shooting of Nikolai Gumilyov (1921), the second, no less catastrophic for Akhmatova as a poetess, was the ban on publishing her works. The years of silence lasted fifteen years (1925-1939), and only in 1940 a collection of six books was published. To survive, Anna Andreevna became a translator, her works, soundly and literary designed, are the diamonds of translated literature.

One of the famous works that came out much later than the date of its creation, after the death of the poetess, is the poem Requiem (1935-1943). The lines, permeated with the pain of the mother and the despair of the woman in front of the Soviet system of repression, were written during the second arrest of his son and Lev's sentence to camp work. How many years did Anna Akhmatova have to wait for her son? Seven long. And then she did not know about the second exile of her son to the camps (1949-1956).

Anna Akhmatova is the owner of the Etna-Taormina Literary Prize (1964), holds the title of Doctor of Literature from the University of Oxford (1965).

The last film with Anna Akhmatova, it is also the only one, artistic and journalistic - Anna Akhmatova's personal file (1989). It uses documentary footage of Anna Andreevna's funeral - funeral service and burial, includes amateur footage and rare newsreels, plays the works of the poetess performed by the author.

Anna Akhmatova has gray eyes, naturally dark hair color, fair skin and thin lips. The shape of the face is oval, the forehead is high, the hair is straight, thick. Anna Akhmatova did not change her hair color, preferring natural hair. The actress has a medium crooked nose and a pointed chin. The growth of the actress is 180 cm, no tattoos.
