Born on April 5, 1913 in Tbilisi.
Armenian Soviet actor. People's Artist of the Armenian SSR.
In 1931-1934 he was an actor of the Sundukyan Theater.
In 1934-1937 he studied at the Armenian Theater Studio (workshop of Ruben Simonov) in Moscow. In 1937-1968 he was an actor at the Leninakan Drama Theater. Since 1968 he worked under a contract at "Armenfilm".
He passed away on December 25, 1993 in Yerevan. Having learned about the death of Sherents' close friend, the actor Frunze Mkrtchyan became ill, he received a heart attack and after 4 days he also died.
