Born November 28, 1932 in Taganrog.
In 1956 he received an engineering degree from the Taganrog Radio Engineering Institute.
In 1961 he graduated from the Theater School named after B.V. Shchukin, course of V.A. Etusha.
He worked at the Theater of Miniatures and at the Theater of Satire, which he left in 1987 after the death of Andrei Mironov. He performed on the stage as a humorist.
Television viewers will remember him as Pan Zyuzya from "Zucchini 13 Chairs".
In recent years, he has performed on the stage of the Anton Chekhov Theater.

He passed away at night on August 3, 2009 in the Botkin hospital in Moscow. The artist was buried on August 6 at the Vagankovskoye cemetery (plot number 25).
