Graduated from the directing department of the film department of the I. Karpenko-Karago State Institute of Theater Arts (1971, workshop of V. Denisenko). Ass. director on the films "Hare Reserve" by N. Rasheev, "Illumination" by V. Denisenko, second director on the TV film by A. Voitetskiy "A lone sail white sail". Since 1970 - director of the A. Dovzhenko Film Studio. Since 1991 - a teacher at the KSITI named after I.K. Karpenko-Kary.
