Peter Henry Fonda was born on February 23, 1940 in the American city of New York. He is the son of legendary actor Henry Fonda and brother of Jane. Jane and Peter often saw their father in work clothes plowing a field on a tractor as a child. Once Peter, seeing his father in one of the westerns, was wildly delighted and started a game of chance "in the Indians" .
While still at the University of Omaha, Peter Fonda played in the amateur performance "Garvey" and was praised by his father. After that he dropped out of school, went to New York, where he soon appeared on Broadway in the play "Blood, Sweat and Stanley Poole" .
Two-time Golden Globe laureate, also nominated for two Oscars.
