Born June 4, 1962 - Soviet and Russian theater and film actor.
Entered GITIS (workshop of Oscar Remez). The graduation performances on the course were staged by Pyotr Fomenko, Kama Ginkas and Oleg Kudryashov. His classmates were the now famous actors Leonid Gromov, Roman Madyanov, Irina Rozanova and Igor Ugolnikov.
After graduation he was drafted into the army and served in the fortified area. Upon his return he was admitted to the Pushkin Moscow Drama Theater.
The first film work was the role of Boatswain in the film "Everything Paid For" directed by Alexei Saltykov.
In the theater, as in the cinema, Alexander Barinov gets very different roles, from comedic to deeply tragic. In the film "Under the Dome of the Circus" Barinov played a woman in one of the episodes.
