Born November 11, 1898. In 1928 he graduated from the Theater School at the Vakhtangov Theater (later - the School named after B.V.Shchukin). Since 1924 - artist of the Vakhtangov Theater. People's Artist of the RSFSR (1955).
He passed away on January 25, 1978.
