Elizaveta Alekseeva - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips.
Born June 9, 1901 in Moscow. She studied at the Moscow Art Theater School and in the studio of E. B. Vakhtangov. Since 1922 - an artist of the Vakhtangov studio, after the transformation of the studio into the Vakhtangov Theater (1926) - an artist of this theater, also worked as a director. In Alekseeva's art, dramatic temperament was combined with simplicity and softness of performance. From 1930 she taught at the B.V.Shchukin Theater School, professor (1946). People's Artist of the RSFSR (1947). People's Artist of the USSR (1971) .
She passed away on February 21, 1972 in Moscow.
