Fran Kranz (born July 13, 1983) is an American actor best known for his role as the scientist Topher Brink in Joss Whedon's science fiction series A Doll House.
Francis Krantz grew up in Los Angeles, California, where he attended Harvard Westlake School. Krantz later entered Yale University, graduating in 2004. He began acting in films during his third year of study. Also while at Yale, Fran was a member of the amateur comedy troupe Ex! T Players.
In 2003, Krantz starred in the joint video of The Chemical Brothers and The Flaming Lips for the song The Golden Path.
