Alexey Samoletov was born on September 10, 1963 in Novosibirsk. From an early age, he showed interest in public speaking and oratory. At the age of four, he becomes the host of a children's television show at the Novosibirsk television studio. After graduation, he decides to enter the Novosibirsk Theater School, in the workshop of Lev Belov. During his studies, he was offered the position of an actor-trainee in the theater, to which he willingly agreed and at the end of his studies he already had considerable experience in the acting field, since he took part in more than 10 large-scale performances.
In 1984, Alexey Samoletov graduated from college, and in the same year he was enrolled in the theater staff, where he performed during his studies. He worked there until 1987. After that, Alexei starts working at the Novosibirsk Academic Theater "Krasny Fakel", where he stayed until 1989. This year he decides to get a second higher education, for which he enters the Altai State University at the Faculty of Journalism. After that moment, he never went on stage as an actor again. The roles of Alexei Samoletov in a few performances were very non-trivial and varied, depending on the scale of the projects.
In 1990, Alexei leads an active life as a program host, correspondent and director. Among his projects are such as Panorama - a news TV show, which during the collapse of the USSR was almost the only source of information about the Far Eastern regions of the country.
