Daniil Strakhov was born on March 2, 1976 in one of the Moscow maternity hospitals. His family had nothing to do with art. However, as a child, the boy was very seriously interested in theater. At school age, I enjoyed visiting the theater group and the “School of Self-Determination”. The parents of the future actor did not put much pressure on the choice of the future profession, so Daniel's decision to enter the theater institute was supported and even hired a tutor. The first mentor was the actor Oleg Vavilov. Daniil began teaching acting at the Moscow Art Theater School in 1993, and just a year later he became a student of Evgeny Simonov at the Shchukin School. Then Strakhov got a cameo role in the movie, which became his acting debut.
After graduating from the institute in 1997, the actor began a successful collaboration with the Moscow Theater named after N. V. Gogol. He immediately gets the main role of the production Petersburg, thanks to which he became a prize-winner of the Moscow Debuts festival.
