Born on October 25, 1945 in the city of Serpukhov, Moscow Region.
During her school years she worked as a turner at a radio engineering plant, studied at the flying club. At school evenings she read poetry, sang, studied at a music school. After leaving school, she left for Moscow, preparing to enter the law school, but accidentally went to the operetta studio and had a dream of becoming an actress. In Moscow, she did not enter acting, she entered the Leningrad Theater Institute. Soon after admission she starred in a small role in the film "Do not forget. After filming, she returned to Moscow and entered the second year at the Shchukin school.
Graduated from the Theater School named after B.V. Shchukin (1971, course of Yuri Katin-Yartsev). She was a classmate of Natalia Gundareva, Natalia Varley, Vladimir Tikhonov and Konstantin Raikin.
