Born June 19, 1928 in Ulan-Ude.
Graduated from the directing department of VGIK (1960, workshop of M.I.Romm) .
He worked at the Uzbekfilm cinema and Central Television. Since 1963 - director of the Kiev Film Studio named after A.P. Dovzhenko.
Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1978).
He passed away on October 20, 2008 in Kiev.
