Jules Gabriel Verne, a famous writer, author of adventure novels and science fiction, was born in France in the winter of 1828. He became the first child of the successful lawyer Pierre Verne. Later, his family was replenished with a younger brother and three sisters. At first, being the heir to a hereditary lawyer, Jules Verne began to study law. However, the love of literature prevailed, and he chose a different life path for himself.

Wikipedia calls the books of Jules Verne one of the most translated in the world, yielding a leading position only to the literary work of Agatha Christie. During his long life (and he lived for 77 years), he became the author of more than 60 novels, two dozen short stories and novellas, thirty plays, several scientific works.

Jules Verne traveled a lot. The impressions of his travels around the world formed the basis of some of his works, in particular the cycle of Extraordinary Travels. However, the author's work was based not only on personal experiences. In many ways, he was ahead of his time and in his books predicted things that were created only after many decades. In one of his novels, entitled Paris in the 20th century, Jules Verne spoke in detail about the car, the fax, and even the electric chair. The manuscript was rejected by the publishing house in 1863 and was discovered more than a century later by the writer's great-grandson. His other predictions include a flight to the moon, helicopter planes, television and video communications.

Jules Verne's work is popular to this day. His novels have formed the basis of screenplays more than a hundred times from the very beginning of filmmaking. Therefore, it is difficult to overestimate the role of Jules Verne both in world literature and in cinema. Some of his characters became so popular that more than once they were heroes of various plots, out of touch with the context of the writer's works.

The writer passed away at the beginning of the twentieth century - in March 1905, at the age of 78.

Jules Verne has brown eyes, naturally dark hair, fair skin and medium lips. The shape of the face is oval, the forehead is high, the hair is curly, thick. Jules Verne did not change his hair color, preferring natural. The writer has a large, straight nose and a rounded chin. Jules Verne let go of his mustache and beard.
