Born on January 8, 1869 in Kiev.
He began his professional career in 1887. Was an actor of the opera troupe I. Setov (Kiev). He worked in the Kiev theaters: the National Theater (1917), the State Drama Theater (1918), the First Theater of the Ukrainian Soviet Republic named after Shevchenko (1919-1925), at the Odessa State Theater (1925-1931, since 1927 - the Odessa Revolution Theater. He starred in films of the VUFKU film studio.
He passed away on July 15, 1931 in Odessa.
