Born September 30, 1981, Dublin, Ireland - author of romance novels; producer and co-author of Who Is Samantha? (Samanta Who?); her father is former Irish Prime Minister Bertie Ahern.
Before becoming a writer, Cecilia Ahern graduated from the Faculty of Journalism. At the age of 21, she wrote her first novel, PS I Love You, which has sold in over 40 countries. In 2007, Warner Bros. and Wendy Finerman Productions undertook the adaptation of this work. The book took first places in the ratings of bestsellers in the USA, England, Ireland, Germany, and in the latter it lasted 52 weeks. In November 2004, her second book, Where Rainbows End, also peaked in Ireland and the United Kingdom. On the list of the best in Ireland, the novel lasted 12 weeks. Her third book, If you could see me now, was published in November 2005 and has also become an international bestseller. In 2006, the fourth novel, "There's no place like here", was released and also became # 1 in Ireland and the United Kingdom. Cecilia has already received a huge number of different awards.
