Born November 30, 1966, Dublin, Ireland - director, screenwriter, producer and editor.
Studied Physics and Philosophy at Trinity College Dublin. At age 20, he won a Ph.D. scholarship in philosophy from Stanford University. After a while, he left the university and returned to Ireland to pursue film production.
Filmed commercials and short films. In 2004 he directed his first full-length film, Adam & Paul.
In 2012 won the IFTA Best Picture (What Richard Did), which became the most successful Irish film of 2012.
