Was born in Riga in 1939. When the war broke out, my mother was evacuated with him to Tashkent. She worked all day, and the boy was brought up in a boarding school. As soon as the war ended, the Wolfsons returned to Riga. After serving in the army, young Wolfson decided to become a writer. He himself decided to take his story "Open Country" to Moscow in the magazine Yunost. The story was very much liked by the then editor-in-chief of the magazine - Valentin Kataev.
Based on his story, a feature film was shot at the Riga Film Studio, the music for which was composed by Raimonds Pauls. Dymov wrote several screenplays for the Odessa Film Studio - “4: 0 in favor of Tanechka”, “Men are required”. The protagonists of his stories and short stories have always been children.
Mikhail Gavrilovich Dymov died in 2004 at the age of 65, before he could finish his next book.
