Russian film director, screenwriter, film actor. The real name is Krasnopolsky-Ledov. Born June 14, 1933 in Sverdlovsk. In 1955 he graduated from the Ural University, and in 1963 he graduated from the directing department of VGIK (1963), where the course of documentary filmmakers was led by Ilya Kopalin. Since 1964 he has been working at the Mosfilm film studio.
