Graduated from the directing department of VGIK (1968, workshop of M. Romm and A. Stolper). In 1958-1960 he worked as an artist at VDNKh. In 1960-1962 - assistant artist and decorator of the "Mosfilm", M. Gorky, "Turkmenfilm" film studios. From 1968 he worked at the Mosfilm film studio .
He passed away on June 22, 2012.
