Born in Odessa, August 7, 1958.
He came to the Odessa Film Studio at the age of 18 after graduation Republican school of projectionists. He started working on the set. In 1986 he entered the correspondence department of the camera department of the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (workshop of A.V. Kharitonov and A.V. Galperin). During his studies at VGIK, he managed to shoot two feature films "Take me with you" directed by A. Polynnikov as a cinematographer and, in collaboration with cameraman Felix Gilevich, "The Art of Living in Odessa", directed by Georgy Yungvald Khilkevich.
After graduating from VGIK in 1991, he began work on his directorial debut, the feature film "The Smell of Autumn" .
The film was completed in 1993, after which it has visited many festivals, and received flattering reviews from critics and filmmakers. The picture did not have a wide distribution due to the collapse of the Soviet Union, and the collapsed film distribution system. In the period from 1991 to 1997 he was the permanent operator of the popular television project "Masks - Show" .
In 1997, he managed to raise funds and launch into production an almanac of 20 films dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Alfred Hitchcock, entitled "Guardians of Vice". Due to the 1998 crisis, production of only 8 films was completed. In 2003, he was invited to head the Shooting Technique Workshop of the Odessa Film Studio, in which he once began his work. After corporatization of "Odessa Film Studio" in 2005, he continued to head the united Workshop of shooting and lighting equipment. In 2009, after the appearance of financial difficulties at the corporatized "Odessa Film Studio", he received an offer from shareholders to head the JSC "Odessa Film Studio". In 2012, he asked to be relieved of his post as Chairman of the Board of PJSC "Odessa Film Studio" .
At the moment Viktor Nozdryukhin-Zabolotny is engaged in creative projects and holds the position of General Producer of PJSC Odessa Film Studio.
