Born November 2, 1947 in the family of actor Sergei Gurzo Sr. and actress Nadezhda Samsonova. In 1970 he graduated from the acting department of VGIK (workshop of B. Babochkin). He starred in forty films. In the early 90s he founded the Segurt studio, where he made several films as a director. Films "Ka-ka-du", "Rubber Woman" are distinguished by an acute social orientation and a principled life position of a real film artist.
